Nalgene bottles sloshing and condensating against The North Face ass. Mountainsmith Monopods kept the tricep busy. Garmin wristwatch keeping space. "Because we all know space!" - Neil Cassidy - or not. Einstein never knew no time on The Pomperaug. Never fitted his Gortex lining around his Cabin socks. Good ole wool. But, you are nothing, and short of a man without the Patagonia knit hat and Columbia breaker. Ray Ban sunglasses - now that's a class act. With a digital Nikon you can capture it all to hold onto forever...Or write a Google blog about it.
What's in a name? Ask Chief Pomeraug. You won't need a backpack full of gear to find him. It's a four mile long driveway - wider than the Gaza Strip, that sliver that's been worth killing over for 2 millennium, but a short hike. Trust me, you won't starve or dehydrate. You'll feel better and lighter if you leave the coat and the hat and the lunch in the trunk.
